Program for Out-of School Youth
Project SAFE (Success Advances Future Employment)
for youth ages 16-24.
This is a 12- week Program with a certificate given upon successful completion
Program includes but not limited to: class training in Customer Service, Employment Development (Interviewing Techniques), Life Skills, Basic Computers, Conflict Resolution, Consumer Education, Resume Preparation, Job Readiness, Placement & Follow-up.
The program works closely with the One-stop of New Britain and receives
referrals for WIA (Workforce Investment Act), and JFES (Jobs First Employment
Services) participants.
A “Work Experience” component is offered for those with little
to no employment history.
