New Britain Internship NBHS The New Britain Internship Program is a collaborating effort with OIC NB, The Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce and Central Connecticut State University’s Institute for Technology and Business Development (ITBD). The program provides the opportunity for thirty (30) New Britain High School seniors to participate in a paid internship with local non and for profit agencies and businesses. OIC NB provides instruction in job readiness to prepare youth for the real world of work and the OIC Feeder concept that motivates and stimulates youth to perform to their fullest potential. ITDB does the vocational training in helping participants decide what career field would be of interest to them and the Chamber of Commerce is responsible for matching interns with appropriate jobs.
